  • Site Clerk - Job Summary:\r\nThe Stores Man is responsible for the effective management, control, and coordination of all materials, tools, and equipment on a construction site. This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of stock. The role ensures that the right materials are available at the right time, contributing to smooth site operations and adherence to project timelines.\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n• Receive and inspect incoming materials, tools, and equipment for quality and quantity compliance.\r\n• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using manual and/or electronic systems.\r\n• Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of stock in accordance with company and safety standards.\r\n• Issue materials and tools to site personnel as required and maintain issuance logs.\r\n• Track material usage and report on stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.\r\n• Coordinate with procurement and site managers to forecast material needs.\r\n• Assist in periodic stock-taking, reconciliation, and audits.\r\n• Maintain the security and cleanliness of the stores area.\r\n• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to storage and material handling.\r\n• Report any damaged or non-conforming materials to the relevant supervisor.\r\nQualifications & Experience:\r\n• Grade 12 School Certificate.\r\n• Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain, or related field is an advantage.\r\n• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a stores role, preferably on a construction site.\r\n• Knowledge of inventory management systems and record keeping.\r\n• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, stock control software).\r\n• Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.\r\n• Understanding of occupational health and safety standards.\r\nSkills and Competencies:\r\n• Strong organizational and time management skills.\r\n• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.\r\n• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.\r\n• Integrity and trustworthiness in handling materials.\r\n• Physical fitness to lift and move materials when needed.\r\nWorking Conditions:\r\nThis role is based at a construction site and requires working in varying weather conditions. The Stores Man must adhere to safety protocols, including the use of PPE, and may be required to work extended hours to meet project needs.\r\n
  • Legal And Administrative Officer - 1. Job Summary\r\nThe Legal and Administrative Assistant’s role will be to support our Legal Office in delivering efficient legal and administrative operations within the company. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong interest in legal processes related to land administration, compliance, and contract management. The role may also involve occasional support to other related offices.\r\n2. Key Responsibilities\r\n2.1 Maintain an organized filing system for legal documents and case files\r\n2.2 Type and proofread letters, legal documents, contracts, agreements, and transcripts\r\n2.3 Assist in drafting and amending legal documents, including contracts, addenda, undertakings, and demand letters\r\n2.4 Handle key correspondence with clients and stakeholders\r\n2.5 File applications and documents with institutions including the Ministry of Lands, Provincial Planning Authorities, City Council, and other regulatory bodies overseeing land matters\r\n2.6 Assist in preparing documents for court hearings, arbitration, mediation, and trials and attending in place of senior when delegated.\r\n2.7 Assist with legal opinions, legal research and provide substantive legal support\r\n2.8 Assist in the administration and monitoring of contracts and their compliance\r\n2.9 Support customer, company, and employee adherence to contractual obligations\r\n2.10 Manage indexing of client files for archiving and reference\r\n2.11 Prepare and submit regulatory and government compliance reports\r\n2.12 Perform bulk printing, photocopying, copy-checking, indexing, file preparation, and document binding\r\n2.13 Manage the legal calendar, including tracking of court dates, filing deadlines, and compliance timelines\r\n2.14 Assist with general administrative and logistical tasks as required\r\n\r\nQualifications and Skills\r\n\r\n1.0 LLB Degree\r\n1.1 Advocate of the high court\r\n1.2 experience in conveyancing\r\n1.3 understanding of the labour law is an added advantage
